I found this under my center console when I took it out today:
 It says: "speed control unit" so I'm assuming thats what it is. Should I put it back in my car? It's an ED XR6. I'm just curious because my EB series 2 didn't have one under the console. |

I suppose your cruise control has never worked since you owned the car. Becuase if it was, you would have noticed that it now longer works
 Also in EA and EB1, these units where located under the dash above the accelorator pedal.  :
