NF/NL ones will only fit the high-series mouldings. there are no factory clear side indicators which fit the low-series mouldings - i.e. all Gli/Futura/XR/Fairmont etc. these can only be purchased aftermarket from ratman! ;)

Nah youre not going crazy. I think the AU ones look a bit chunky for the EB-EDs too. Does anyone know if the NF/NL Fairlane repeaters will fit instead of the AU ones? I was thinking of fitting them to my car. Or what about BA ones? has anyone used them?

EL Fairmonts (some of?) & Ghias has the higher-spec fat moulding, which incorporated the NF/NL type clear side-indicator something along those lines! :P

has anyone ever had there nice clear repeaters stolen? i know i see heaps of holden vt/vx commodores that have had the oval style repeaters stolen. and even in one instance at a car yard in shepparton with all holdens, all the cars repeaters had been removed by the dealer so they couldnt be stolen.

Yeah, with NF/NL or EL Fairmont mouldings, you can just get clear lenses that have an orange bit inside them and it all fits up, the actual clear side repeater is only $23ish from Ford Spares, so go to a wrecker, get a moulding on your colour which would cost crap all anyway, and get the repeater from Ford, dont bother with aftermarket crap.
