Default Fuel @ 99.9cents in QLD

Unleaded was 99.9c at Woolworths Robina yesterday. $103.9 if you didn't have a shopping voucher. Unfortunately that servo doesn't stock 98 ron for my F6 so I went to Nerang (about 4kms away) where it was 18 cents dearer for unleaded, so I ended up paying $132.9 for my Vortex 98.

Still a bloody good price. I'm paying $1.45 p/l for 91 octane unleaded out here.

Yeah its a bit on the rough side isnt it? And when my new flash tune turns up i'll only be able to use 98 octane and thats about $1.51-$1.53 p/l here.

Hows this for sus, Tuesday night at Richmond Shell I paid 1.15 the very next day it leaped to 1.28.

I don't know how much longer they can do this for, there's obviously a pattern here, when will the ACCC do something?

Wednesday morning is always the cheapest, it jumps Wednesday arvo and stays highover Thursday and starts coming down on friday. It happens that way every single week. For about the last 3 years anyway.

saw on sky news petrol should drop to between $1 $1.10 by christmas/ new year, their reasoning is that the middle east is now no longer in conflict and that no major hurricanes in the u.s yet. They also said something about the u.s finding new oil reserve holing over 15billion barrels, can only be a good thing

Local BP (Nambour) was at $1.10 for 91 ULP last night at 7pm, then when I got back from Brissy at about 11:30pm, it was $1.21, this morning it was $1.10 again.

Damn unstable Middle East
