Denso irridiums from BA XR6 turbos are a great plug. Ford sell them for about $12 each. Apparently you can get them from Toyota for 1/2 the price. I don't know Toyota's code though.

Splitfire leads, and double platinum iridium plugs.. about $270 for all of it though.

Its what ive got, car runs noticeable smoother and generally better. Wouldnt say its a big powergainer though, but it does run better.

Well the moron in the store dropped one of the plugs so it ran like a dog under acceleration because it was only running 5 cylinders

Changed the culprit plug and yes it runs very smoothly

The only problem with the Top Gun leads is they are all the same length, where as the other brands are different lengths for different cylinders.

i bought a kit for my car so they are all the right length except for the coil one because my coil has been moved to a different spot.

Autolite spark plugs, you cant beat them, they improved my fuel ecconomy, incresed power, response, and best of all they are cheap ($40 a set) and they burn clean, how is this possible you ask? the E.G sensor is very sensitive and choosing the right plug will make a big difference. i have tried every plug under the sun and nothing compares, iridium, bosch..whatever, i have even given a set of these plugs to my mate who runs a straight gas setup and he was shocked at the difference it made...eliminated a few of his problems and put a good smile on his face. where can you get em? jim mock is the only bloke i know who sells them.

Autolites seem to be pretty good.I use topgun leads and some ford iridium plugs. As far as NGK iridiums...they suck.Champion...sux...bosch sux.. The xr6 ngks are good and the replacement ford ngks are ok too.A plug which runs clean in an engine is the best plug.If it is too cool, or too hot they get too much residue on them and lose power. On my last dyno run the top of my curve showed squiggles which I believe to be poor leads/plugs.

As for power..I think the spark plugs are critical to making good power. The better the quality spark in the engine the better combustion.

Have had good experiences with BA XR6 Turbo plugs as well. Before that I had Bosch super 4s and they were really smooth, but became rough after 35,000ks. Both were pretty good on a well maintained EAII.

There's a few places that sell them, when I was getting mine there were at least 3 different places around Brisbane that I could get them from. Not bad plugs.
