Default Where is my Focus???

After being 2 weeks past the delivery date I get told the car will be in on Monday. Then no show, same with Tuesay and no show, same with Wednesday and...well you get the idea. Come today and still no show. The dealer does not know where it is or more blatantly obvious when it will come in - apparently they are getting nowhere with Ford or the trucking company. All they know is that it is in Aus and it has gone wholesale (whatever that means). Now how on earth in days of electronic tagging and improved systems of business can a 20K odd car go missing? OR are they just liars with something else they are not telling me?
Cheers

We recently had a new FPV owner who was told the same garbage, David
Flint jumped on and expressed his view that the dealership DOES know where the car is.

This doesnt help you unfortuantely, but speak to the dealer principal, if not raise it through the Ford Customer Relationship Centre Phone:(13 3673)

I know exactly what you're going through. I ordered my Zetec in July 05 and got it in October. The dealer had no idea when it was coming but always gave stupid excuses and estimates. I would've been happy if they said you'll get it in three months.

I feel for you.

If you buy an XR5 you are forced to wait probably a min of about 2 months or worse depending on what dealer you go to, all without test driving it first!

But admittely we have chosen to wait, you haven't.

Cheers,
Ford Grunt
