i know there has been a few threds involving talking about brakes and how to remove and refit, but i require new brake pads on the front, and was woundering what brands of pads are the best for a reasonable daily driver ?
i heard a few brands leave a lot of brake dust while otheres are fine, but dont last as long, cheere brad` |

I believe the QFM brake pads are well respected and have pads covering the everyday driver to the performance spectrum. They claim very low brake dust, no squeal and long wearing, however it's recommended that the rotors be machined or renewed when fitting new pads. I'll be changing to these on my next pad change.

For a reasonable daily, QFM or you're wasting your money. Long lasting, no dust, no squeal, awesome stopping power. QFM for lyfe.

Erm i think it's about the ~$60 mark for a set of fronts (ie 4 pads).
