If it's Series II, might be the 200kW jobbie.

This engine was for sale a couple of months ago. Same pics and seller. He had the auction for $3,000. It didn't sell so he is probably trying again for $200 less. I know because I am keeping my ear to the ground for an AU II III XR engine.

I didn't see any Tickford logos anywhere!
How does one know it's the real deal. Let us know Tickford V8 owners! GK

In one shot I can see the 'hand built by' badge, that has a ticky logo on it.

I reckon he'd sell it if he did the auction page properly with the right info - that it was 220kW, who hand built it, etc. People want/need that info before committing to nearly $3k

The engine on ebay has the 2 piece TB/EGR plate - so it's either a 200 if from a sedan or a 185, if from a ute.

JC is 99% correct. The 200kw and 220kw both were hand built/assembled and have engine plaques. No 185kw motor has an engine plaque. That engine has a engine plaque and no Tickford TB, so it's a 200kw and is NOT a 220kw I assure you. The seller doesn't know, or he's boollsheeting.
