Yep its a slow day at work.
I have a s1 au v8 fairlane with tickford plated 17" wheel option (s2 xr style wheels). The plate only mentions the 17" wheel option but i have lower red springs at about xr height and look like original black monroe struts along with the little black plastic winglets riveted on to the front wheel arches. Have seen these wheels on fairmonts and possibly fortes too. Just wanted to find out if my suspension was tickford fitted as a mandatory part of the wheel option or would it be after market? Thanks. Ps i am not the original owner. |

As far as I'm aware, all Ford/Tickford springs are black.
Pedders springs are red, so I'm betting they're aftermarket.
