Cool Ford Fiesta ST500 Limited Edition - EU Only but still worth a perv

LINK!

A great looking limited edition release to help move some units whilst the new Fiesta lurks around the corner.

Pity it won't make it here, still it's nice to oogle at.

Stealthy, with hints of FG FPVs in the decal kit. I like it! Would tie in nicely with the Ford Australia lineup...

Good God NO!!

Leather seats and Stereo are both the only things worth it. Mini Boss decal on the bonnet it chavtastic, the rims look terrible and the whole exterior looks like a Zetec that someone has overdone trying to look like an ST.

No thanks.

no comments on the carbon fiber trim???

I'd go one, but not sure if the bonnet stripe would stay on it though.

So if it's a ST500 does this mean it's got 500 Horsepower?

The sony stereos are worse than the stock Fiesta ones. In terms of sound quality. So if you want looks regardless of sound quality, go ask for the price of a Sony head unit. (Only freely available place to buy them is from www.ebay.co.uk - and beg the sellers to send it to Australia) And on top of that, they're ridiculously expensive for what they are. Better of buying a fascia and one of the billions of better after market head units out there. Hell, for the price of one of those Sony head units, you could buy yourself a fascia, 7-inch dvd player and a wiring harness!!!

They should've used the ST185 instead of the ST150.

Also no A/C, no stereo, no airbags, no power steering, carbon fibre bonnet and roof. Cos ST185 weighing less than 1000kg = mmm.

Sean, I know it relates to the number produced but I was just relating it to the way some other Eurofords had numbers ie horsepower ratings after them. A Fiesta with 500 horsepower, now that'd be something.

Maybe it's just the sunny day, but I don't like the black so much in those photos. A bit over exposed. Makes the plastic around the grille look cheap. I wouldn't mind the black rims & red brakes on my car though.
I think gold stripes & rims would look better too.

The calipers are easy to do! Half a day job and only costs about $30-50 tops. I know there's a place somewhere that does rim tinting. A lot of XR5 Focus owners have their rims in anthracite grey. Not black, I know, but I'm sure black is possible too
