Try doing a burnout on a paddock at a showgrounds and getting away with it. You would be explaining it to a magistrate within a week...

I completely agree that it shows they are normal people.. but as normal people they should obey the rules normal people have to!

I think its good to see a cop being able to let loose a bit.

I say let him go with a warning.

Burnout...in a dirt paddock?
Sensationalism?
Not unlike the the "hoons" in the local paper recently, who didn't actually have a vehicle.

typical media though, i bet if his Sarge or someone higher up found out about it, nothing would have been done. some do gooder sent it to the papers who hype it up

it was a bit of harmless show boating, not only that he had permission to do it from the organisers?

got nothing to do with hoon laws, they dont come into effect on private property.

gotta hate the media!! bunch of tight c#@ts!

I think it was good to see a Cop let it go for a change and in a place where it wasn't too crowded.

I can see to an extent why he would be introuble but thats not to say that he was totally in the wrong.
I think good on him for having fun but shame on him for not actually doing it in a controlled environment like they want us to do.

I think it should be only a warning aswell, but lets say it was someone we know that did it and an accident happened. The Bronze would be out in a flash and YES you would get booked and possibly loose points or your licence because it involved a motor vehicle.
Doesn't matter if it's private property or not unless it's an organised event such as Drag racing, Hill Climbs or burnout pad and so on.
But as I said, good on him for having fun!!!!!!
