Hey,
I picked up my new LT Focus on Thursday, and I've noticed when I try to take the fuel cover off, it sometimes gets jammed and can't be pulled away from the body. Can't really see a reason for it once it finally does pull away, but has anyone come across the same problem? I dread to think that I'm gonna get to the servo one day and I'm not gonna be able to pull the cover off to fill it up. Might look like a bit of a tool |

The flap locks with the central locking so there shouldn't be any resistance if the car is unlocked.
Are you talking about the flap or the cap? |

Flap sorry. My bad. Was unsure of the right way of describing it. So that means when you're filling up the car has to be unlocked? |

Yep, they deleted the key on the LS, so you need the doors unlocked to fuel the car. then lock the car as you walk away to pay.

Good to hear if I run out of fuel I can get some out of a LS or LT by pulling the flap off the car with a bit of force :p

I just usually open the flap, lock the car, fill up, unlock, close the flap, lock. Its not that much of a hassle.

Am I the only one who leaves the keys in the ignition at the petrol station :P (I ususally have a passenger when filling)
I must admit it stumped me for about 30 secs when I first had to put fuel in the LS

Well I used to be able to lock my car, refuel, open the bonnet and change the battery all with the car locked.
