You probably could go over in second.
Would be interesting to see if your times improve by using the upper revs - my best times were when I left it in sports mode. It sounds faster holding the gears to past 6000 but the timeslips never agreed with my ears. |

So far ive done it in sports mode as well, but its on 25psi in the tyres as well. Maybe something in the 30's would get the tyre diameter high enough to keep 2nd over the line. I think its going to hit the limiter though based on how early it gets into 3rd.

I can get to the line in 2nd but have to change right on the line but I have less power then you and also 1 second slower ET. I have found short changing 2nd at around 5500 can give good results. Have fun!
I pulled my last PB by running 45 psi on the rears which was a mistake but worked out well. I only got 1 good run after that each time i just got tyre smoke. +1 for sports mode. |

good night for me so far already. A new pb already 14.515@96.95 although im running with no lh headlight to feed the growler direct air. Combo on that was 35psi and manual shifting at 5500rpm. Been trying =iants idea with the aircon and it seems to be working. Infact that run i forgot to turn it off after staging!

Good work mate a new PB. Now try screwing the BBM tab screw in as far as it goes with out falling out the otherside. Just need a flat head screwdrive 1 min job. count the threads so you know can set back to normal if u dont like screw towards the unbent side so the short runner butterflys are slightly open at idle.

Try pumping the fronts up to 55psi. rears 45psi and add a extra 10 litres of fuel should be enff to stop the spin maybe make it 15. Have you removed the Dust / Coil Cover off the rocket cover if not do so it traps heat. Good to replace it for daily driving.

Yeah still standard tune. I think i'll be holding off on the tune until im ready to also do cams. That 14.515 was with a 2.178 60ft. My net 2 runs following that were a 14.511 and 14.507 with a 2.204 and 2.188 60ft. Best run of the night came after them with 14.425 and a 2.160 60ft. Ended up doing 9 runs through the night.

Woooo great work mate smashed the 14.5 barrier. What was the temp last night should be able to go faster next winter.
Looking at your 60ft times you should invest in some better rubber for the rear or look at setup for improved and consistent launching. Did you try anything else for the later runs? |

Didnt see it in your mod list but get yourself a set of underdrives, mine picked up 2 tenths after fitting them and 1.2mph - 1.5mph IIRC. Your 60ft of 2.16 was also the exact same as mine before i did gears. For some reason i couldnt get it lower than that. This was on 18s as well. After i did the gears it went 2.100 in the 60 carrying more weight and in warmer conditions. A tune and 4.10s will really bring your car together and make it one very quick and consistent streeter. Top Effort!!! Hopefully i can get down to Calder next Saturday for a couple of runs if the weather holds out, you've given me the itch to go down asap lol |

You are capable of 14.3. To 14.2 with your car. Just get the setup right you will do it

+1 for the 20% underdrives
Would keep your money in your pocket regarding the 4.1 gears and buy a LSD first. Get some sticky rear tyres. Put a switch on your thermo fans so you can turn them off at the lights. At 98mph Doogster set the record of 13.7 ET with Slicks, skinny front runners and weight reduction. 4.11 gears 3000 Stally and Tune. |

I'd recommend 3.9 diff ratio personally because the 4:11 s do feel like they slow you down at the end of the track. 3.9 will help you utilize top end power better while giving great increase in acceleration

What premium fuel are you running,e10 100 from United is the best imo? Another tip to try,if you have good stick street tires(Neuton nt5000 are good in 18s)avoid the water and just stage the car without a burnout and try the run,you may be suprised.Do you have a lsd,you may bot even need it,pump the wheel that spins less likely up 10psi more Just trying to get you that every little bit,I recon that air con/thermo fan idea was mine to lol,I now have the switch/s so that no fans are on when leaving the line, not even low speed.PM me if you want the wire colours to tap into and ill draw you a diagram.I miss my old 167rwkw BA Futura MK11 Wagontwas fun, used to bag the left wheel for donkeys years. |

Whats the trick with the aircon? Im curious hehe
The thermo fans kicking in on the start line were responsible for my mediocre times so a switch to turn them off would be helpful. They would activate on the start line and hot air would blow straight on my air filter. To make matters worse, the intercooler pipe goes through the space under the headlight and due to the angle it passes through it blocks nearly all of the incoming air through that spot. Taking out the light would be my best bet for the drags like you did FPVGTHO. |

Having the aircon on may drop your rad temp but the Hi-speed fans still heat up the intake manifold , spacers or not!
I disconnect the fans before my burnout.... motor comes up to temp quickly and the run cools the rad down, i re-connect them on the return road... |
