it would never really work though kyle, as the dash is already ruined by sundamage - it would just keep cracking in different spots... the only way to "Fix" it is to replace the dash pad...

What's the point? To paint the dash properly you'd need to pull it out. You're better off getting a new dash. I know the EBII/ED ones are better quality than EA ones, not sure if EBI are the same.

i just got a qoute on getting a crack fixed, and they re cover the hole dash for 350

You can STILL buy this Dashpad from Ford. I have been thinking of buying one myself as I have two long cracks in the top of the pad. :(
I have a second hand one that I would like to add but it is a LONG procedure. When Ea's were new I worked at a dealer and many of these had to be taken out and replaced and it was a BIG job. harder than doing a BA one. If the Second hand ones are too dear and you DO want one, PM me and I will see what I can get you a NEW one for. (thats in Sydney?) If I remember correctly, they are about $350.00 Retail? |
