it would never really work though kyle, as the dash is already ruined by sundamage - it would just keep cracking in different spots... the only way to "Fix" it is to replace the dash pad...

how bad is it ? I'm sure a comercial filler / glue could be used, a sand and plastic primer sprayed on and a vynal paint used. ?

i could get shot down on this one though

What's the point? To paint the dash properly you'd need to pull it out. You're better off getting a new dash. I know the EBII/ED ones are better quality than EA ones, not sure if EBI are the same.

You can STILL buy this Dashpad from Ford. I have been thinking of buying one myself as I have two long cracks in the top of the pad. :(

I have a second hand one that I would like to add but it is a LONG procedure. When Ea's were new I worked at a dealer and many of these had to be taken out and replaced and it was a BIG job. harder than doing a BA one.

If the Second hand ones are too dear and you DO want one, PM me and I will see what I can get you a NEW one for. (thats in Sydney?) If I remember correctly, they are about $350.00 Retail?
