Default Number plate value

Been googling and getting absolutely no where regarding pricing a pair of inherited number plates. Plates are EVILGT and are full size white on black old style Victorian plates. I do understand that these things are worth as much as someone is willing to pay but if i could get a ballpark figure i would be very grateful. Plates are new, still in Vic Roads eParcel.

Go to Mr. Plates, for an idea of what people are asking for Australian number plates.
Australia's largest number plate marketplace.
But at the end of the day, it does not mean they will sell at those prices.

Thanks for that. Listed plates on that site with no price - offers required.
The thing is what do i sell at? is $100 reasonable, $500? i have absolutely no idea.
Listing through sold plate prices is not helping either.

Most have the price stated, filter by Ford vehicles and Vic.

Pricing... It all depends how quickly you want them to sell.

Look at it this way, a custom plate from VicRoads for the combination like yours if it was available would be around $500 to buy new.

So anyone wanting custom plates has to spend that amount at least.

I reckon you could get maybe $600 - $800 for a quick sale.

Its all about demand and supply.

It's all about content and like you said what people are willing to pay. Now those plates will appeal to both old school falcon gt owners, fpv people and also the mustang crowd. White on black full size (my plates are the same and I like it) are probably more attractive to the 70s gt people and they potentially have a bit behind them so if they want it they'll pay whatever. I guess you could paint the mustang and fpv people with the same brush as all those cars arent budget vehicles.

$500-$3000 depending on how passionate and how deep the pockets are of the potential buyer, and, how long you're willing to hold it.

I don't think I'd take anything less than $1000.

The prices asked for are set by the plate owners, Mr. Plates does not own the plates, its just a site set up just to sell plates.

A lot of the plate sellers and what they are asking for their plates are dreamers.

As others have said, $495-$600 new depending on combination but I would ask for around $1000 and see if you have any bites as most GT combinations have gone.
Remember plates here are bought outright.

Would have to win the $50 million Powerball Jackpot to justify buying this "1" plate
