They kind of suit it actually, i still prefer period wheels, deep dish slotters would look good.

Nice pics Nick, shows how much the coupe cries out for a dish..

The globes would look great IMO,real 70's look to go along with the continental roof and colour..

They looked quite good, just that the offset was'nt right, as well as the fact that Tracey wanted her wheels back!

I had tried on a pair of 14"x10" factory 12 slots that had been widened, which had 265/14/50 Yoko 352's on them. They looked good but the offset was still was'nt right, i could'nt get my finger between the sidewall and the leaf spring.
Also had 14x8 chrome 12 slotters on but i'm afraid they just don't do it for me any more.
To add to the disappointment, you just can't get wide tyres to suit 14" rims anymore.

Mark, you need a 5" backset for good fitment on the coupe

10x15 have good rubber available.

Yeah I go the consenses here and say not really in to them ...... I have always had a soft spot for globes like in the top pic or a set of jelly beans or hurricanes look good on these and are fairly cheap to get. 15" is better too, just in getting a good range of tyre choice.

Your car is soooooo '70's and needs the same underneath

Only my opinion (so feel free to castrate me!)... But apart from possibly simmons, nothing over 15" dia should go on an old school.
It is law (mine anyhow) that coupes must have minimum of 10" on the arrsee
12 slotters? ho hum? .. 5 slotters? Hmmmm!.. Pretty certain there's a few mobs that do 5 or 12 slotters in 15"?
Neway in Heidleberg? was one if their still going?
Now get that silly hotwheels crap out of your head... You've got a REAL car... Respect it!
