Default 2007 NHRA Season

Great to see the 2007 season is off and running. good to sit down and watch these guys fight it out.

Today before the race they also showed a spedial on 2006 season spills and thrills, there was some great crashes and plenty of burns, awesome camera work.

Stunning watching the top fuels regularly crack into the 4.4x times now. I remember when a 4.99 was almost unheard of! Now a 4.99 wouldn't get you into qualifying.. in Funny cars!

Been waiting since November for this race. A mate of mine who is now living over in the US called me from his "cell" phone just as Force and Cruz were doing there burnouts so i could hear it, unfortunately force lost but it's always good to hear it "live".

How about a AFF NHRA trip to Las Vegas in Oct/Nov to visit SEMA/AAPEX and take in 3 days of racing?????

What a great opener for the season.
some awesome racing over there, and some big upsets too.
2 weeks for the next race meeting.
Worth spending the money to have foxtel to watch these events as we dont have anything like that here to see.

Yep, couldn't believe when I flicked to ESPN and only missed 30 min. of it. How good is J.R Todd, I think he's a good chance of winning the season, especially after last years. He's the giant killer and as for Scelzi, I think he was lucky that Robert Hight crossed the centre line.

GO TEAM FORCE.

Did not take Larry Dixon long to settle down in his new team.

Top qualifying with 4.51, well done to Larry and team.
