Default Whats Heljas Up To ?
I was just over at Heljas's place helping him move eng/trans into garage and removing the trans when i noticed alot of new parts and a few boxes (all from ACL). I asked him what the go was but he was pretty reluctant to reveal too much info. I saw a ACL AU head gasket, ACL EA/EB bottom end rebuild kit including 40 thou over pistons and the start of a very nice manifold. Does anyone know what he is up to ?

dan the v8 is at my parents place for future use yes it will get used just not sure what car to put it into yet

they have a more space in thier shed for storage than i do

damo the engine is a 3.9ltre out of an ea

it has a 3 pd auto attached to it

hope that answeres a few questions

ok i was going to use one of the turbos of the v8 but i decided that being everything else is new (except the block)i would get a new one

i ordered it today and should receive it in 8 weeks as the supplier doesnt have it in stock

its not a garret for this build but has most the internals the same as a garret or very simular and is rated at 650+ hp

i cant wait to get it here so i can finnish building the manifold

due to this delay going with the new turbo i will have more time to do the body on the ea

also once i get the ea here ( should be this weekend ) i will start a new thread about the ea build
