Hey guys.
I know this will always come down to personal opinion, but was wondering what people think about stickers ( words ) on back windows of cars? I have a 09 FG that has BUDDY on my back window, now it was nice when I got it put on there, but honestly think it ruins the nice clear look of my car now. I also have XR6 on the spoiler, and XR FALCON on the mirrors ( misses got them done ) and not sure if I want to leave them there, as clean FG's do look nice. What do use think? Here's the mirror stickers. And the rear stickers |

You liking them is all that matters.

If it were mine I'd pull them all off and also ditch the mudspats while I was at it.

I'm thinking of getting BUDDY removed, but then the XR on the spoiler might look weird. And I'm getting the N/A FG sticker kit on the side, the one that goes in the groove. |

I can understand what you are saying. We had Flame stickers on the side of our car, our names on the door and a big sticker on the back. Some people hated them...we liked them.
We are now modding the coupe again so off they have come. Time for a change. Best thing about stickers is you can take them off if you change your mind. As for you stickers, I really like the ones on the mirrors. Cheers Col

Keep the mud spats, better than chipped paint if you ever go on dirt.

The other bloke likes them, I'm not sure on them, and I think the BUDDY makes it look cheap. |

stickers can be a cheap effective way of changing the look of your car
they can also be a cheap effective way of making it look like the owner is pimply faced p plater thats watched fast n the furious too many times. of your ones, the mirror ones are the only ones i dont like, and as said earlier its your car, doesnt matter what anyone else thinks. ive got the silver fern on my back window (albeit in mattblack lol) plus im planning on the gs or gt stickers for my fg |

It's personal preference, but I'm a signwriter and have all the capabilities to make the stickers but choose not to have them on my car. Mainly because I can't think of anything I like enough to put on it... Wow Just realised I will probably never get a tattoo...

Personally, I like the spoiler stickers. I've seen a couple of FG's with them and I think the latest GT/GS models may of came out with them from factory or as a dealer option?
Other stickers imo don't look to good, but some can. |

Keep it civil and on topic please.
If you do not like the stickers say so but you do not need to insult the OP or anyone else. |

Wow, im surprised, people saying what someone does to their car is gay...
How intelligent, calling something gay. The spoiler decal's look good, not sure about the mirror ones though...looks a bit messy. As for the rear window, that's a personal thing, as long as its relevant to yourself, then its ok. It's not like its a IQ depleting "justify your existence" sticker, or something of that ilk.

I would get rid of the stickers, except the one on the back window if you like it. Keep the mudspats, they will protect your car and don't really stand out.

I like the stickers on the rear spoiler but the others would be removed immediately.

Me? I prefer clean lines, I think stickers take away from a nice car (unless they are factory), I would look at that and say "WTF", sorry mate, but you asked for an opinion

I am personally not a fan of the big stickers over the back window like that, but as up others said, if you like it then that is all that matters : ). Personally, I have a DJR (soon to be replaced with Norton DJR) sticker on my lower left rear window and a Max76 (my favourite motorbike racer) sticker on the lower right. Some not so subtle friends said it looks ****erish, but who cares? I like it and they put a smile on my face when I see them. All that matters in the end as I said!!

What? My post NEVER suggested he remove HIS stickers on his car.He clearly asked, "what people think of stickers on the back windows of cars". Do yourself a favour and re-read the OP's post. Quote:
That is a matter in how you decide to interpret that. But yes, in my opinion they door look crap and cheapen the look of the cars. Anything else you would like to add? |
