Default WA, All Aussie Car show, pic heavy

OK went to the All Aussie Car show at Pinjarra, little town about 1.5 hours south of Perth. Lots of dust on the trotting track unfortunately, not ideal for some of the fantastic paint jobs.

Huge turn out, took some pics to share, no Ford pics (except my XC) because we all know what they look like, so a few different and interesting cars.

First, couple of nice Chargers

Really hot Barracuda 440 in the car park

My brothers RS Camaro

Absolutely stunning old Buick that just had to be seen to believed

Crazy HQ

Wild paint job, so much detail, some people really go all out

Last but not least my XC

Parked next to it was a very nicely done ZD, he had a Superoo decal/stripe down the side which said 351 ZD, nice touch and XA GT square exhaust tips cut into the bumper, very subtle and very well done.

Beautiful pictures!

There seem to be an awful lot of American cars at that "All Aussie Car Show."

Thats what I was thinking, hardly an aussie show, maybe having residency was the prerequisite.

Nevertheless some nice cars..hmmm Mopar.

The Mopar Cars certainly ain't short of blackouts and stripes are they?

Wonder if someone brought out a concept as bold as this today - whether it would still be appealing?

As in - LOUD colours, BIG stripes, and bare bones Muscle (less luxury).

Definitely plenty of blackouts and stripes, that's part of the appeal. I'd certainly consider a bold, bare bones Mopar nowadays if they made one...

Awesome day out!! Had my beast on display and puzzled a few onlooker! Yeah a few american muscle cars but alot of aussie.

Gotta say the 2 big display this year is 50 years of the Valiant in Australia and 40 years since the Leyland P76 And Force 7!!! And i never seen so many P76 in one place (30+)

The only problem is with the new location is the dusty gravel track at the paceway either the car should be on the lawn in the middle of the tack or the water the tack down in the morning before the show as it was dusty everytime someone walk pass or worse drive pass!! As warrona was on grass with no dramas!!

The guys selling that cleaning stuff asked if they could demo it on our gold XC. As I know its good stuff we said yes no problem. So moved our car from next to the yellow 4 door in the photos to next to their table and got our car polished over and over thoughout the day. Probably has so much wax on it now I wont need to polish it for a while.
Took loads of pics I will try and upload some when I can find time. Was a good show. We did get pressured to buy some of their cleaning stuff but they did give a very good discount for using the car. We thought it would have been good if they could have used the track. Park the cars in the middle and at some time during the day do a lap in them. Probably an insurance knightmare but would be good to see and hear the cars in motion.

Yeah spotted your coupe getting some polish, although not a fan of there products.

Yeah middle of the track would have been wise as the gravel dust track was every detailer nightmare!! It was nice hearing some of the car purring out of there espiacally the chop, 2 door blown 57 chev gunning it on the other side.
