Queanbeyan All Ford Day – Saturday September 25

[FASTXR]

Held at the Queanbeyan Showground, this is open to all makes and models of Ford (run in Conjunction with the Queanbeyan Swap-Meet).

Car entry is $5 per vehicle (includes driver's admission to show & swap meet).

Cars to be in place by 9am, car show starts at 10am and judging starts at 11am.

We will be meeting in the rear carpark of Old Parliament House at 7.45am for an 8.00am departure to Queanbeyan.

hey all, been poking my nose around the forums for a while and been thinking of joining the club, wondering if you have to be a member to come and show your car? the car is currently in pieces but fingers crossed ill have it all together a couple of days before this event. and if i get there would love to come along and meet a few guys

Not a problem, would be great to meet you and happy to have you join us on the day.
Just let us know how you get on with the car and if all is good we'll organise a meeting place before all entering the showground as a group.

gday all, at this point it's looking like she'll be on the road in time. only a few things to go now exhaust will arrive this time next week and the soundsytem is allmost finish just needs some final fibreglassing and then carpet and she'll look the part. so at this point ill be there at 745, but will let everyone know when its closer

yeah good, im waiting on the exhaust that will arrive (hopefully) tomorow, then just need to go to a ford shop and get my icc coded then its a matter of just finishing the sound system off although if thats not finished ill just shove the old one back in for the day. looking forward to meeting a few people

Just have to get the BOSS started, put it in semi retirement and it wants complete retirement. May need to get a charger or we will look like this Saturday morn

well my exhaust was suppos to show up today.. but didnt but it should be here tomoro, so i will deffinately be there, also got a mate with a ba xr8 that will probs come along, also a mate who currently has his xr6 turbo ute at queenstreet getting a custom paint job that he gets on next friday and trying to talk him into showin as wel but will let you know but for now ill add myself to the list

Ok everyone, we have a new meeting location; meeting point is now the Caltex Servo on the Queanbeyan end of Lanyon Drive.



Be there at 8.00am for an 8.15am departure to the Queanbeyan Showground.

Make sure you bring along a chair, some snacks and drinks (though there will also be food available at the event) and it might be a good idea to include some sunscreen as its supposed to be a sunny day.

One last thing - we will be unable to take our usual club marquee as it’s too big to fit in a sedan and there are no utes going (fear not, the new club trailer is only a week or so away!!). Does anyone own a small (3m x 3m) gazebo they can bring along?

No need to worry Stuart - Big Glenn has just rung me and very kindly offered us the use of his trailer (including club marquees) for the show so all is good!

so bought the exhaust off rapid performance in sydney on last wednesday... stil havnt got it rapid performanceand slow service, but ivebeen assured ill have it on thursday, and the car is booked in for a tune on friday hoping for about 300rwkw's and she'll be all polished andlooking good for saturday, although sadly soundsystem probs wont be finished

It is just after 8 pm and as I live next to the oval that this event is on I am concerned by the number of trailered cars that are driving up the side street and setting up ready for tomorrow .

Does anyone think I should get over there at sunrise and grab an area for our club ???

If so are we expecting anymore that the 8 listed above ????
