Its time to fit a new clutch to the EL. Got quoted $590 fitted, including machining the flywheel for a standard clutch (cant remember the brand, but it was a good one). Was thinking about a heavy duty one, but considering that I have a 3 bolt ea clutch atm, a 6 bolt el one should be a nice upgrade.

Tim if you can get your hands on a Extreme HD or soft button. You wont be disapointed.

True, but with having some repairs to do round the house after Larry, money is going to be a little tight!! The only reason that the clutch will be done, is that the car is starting go get undrivable, with the amount of shudder on every gear change.

i got xtreme heavy duty clutch put in with machined flywheel for $640- when i was getting mine i think that the standard clutch was bout the same as your quote i just couldnt see the point, and for not that much more money u get a heaps better clutch
