Big storm this morning in Auckland and the sea wall on Tamaki Drive was nearly breeched. One motorist was keen to show us how to avoid rust problems with Ford Territory vehicles, don't do this

There's a big wide footpath there. That's either parked or its nearly curbing. Either way what a clown!

Yep it's a Vitara, have seen another photo of it.
If you'd parked a Territory in that salt water it would have dissolved by the time you got back to it |

Would be a write off now, salt water past the sills and she is gone.

Give it a good hose off and park it over a sprinkler when you get home and wouldn't make any difference......
4x4 been doing it for years... I got a mate that used to take a vs commodore on the beach near home to go distance drifting with it haha |

surely the answer to this age old question "How to Avoid Rust problems in your Territory" is to buy a toyota.

So the answer to the question of "how to avoid rust in your Territory" is to drive a Suzuki through the salty water.
Thanks for that.
