I was going to buy an engine from Queensland and from memory, the normal freight charge would have been $1000 or something. Let us know how you go...

Being over that side of the Island may make it difficult to get cheap freight.
I always check that part out before bidding? Some stuffs impossible to freight, or at least often a deal killer.

Make sure u can get some sort of insurance/assurance that it will get there in the same condition it left in. My work looses thousands in parts freighting (a toyota dealer.)

Ask if the freighter offers anything I guess, last thing I freighted was through TNT and I paid extra for a guarantee

300 bucks is pretty cheap. little too cheap i think.
Expect to pay double that if you want it to be insured or 'taken care of' haha.

If the low km's are the selling point you might want to confirm them with the bloke selling the engine. I think you'll find it actually has around 120,000 kays on it...

hmmm, ebay + 20,000 k's. Makes you wonder why they didn't sell it earlier.

sounds dodgy. There is no way you can confirm this anyway.
