the power is out here in H'berg, we are sitting round the showroom without lights, aircon, phones or computers, looks like we are selling cars ol'school for the rest of the day.

Yep... Same.. Our factory in Laverton North feels & sounds like it's going to "lift-off"... Power has gone off then on 4 or 5 times so far. I reckon the strongest winds in our 6 years here

Pretty bad over here in Adelaide. Im in Mount Barker and its been raining non stop and so windy that our rubbish bins have been blown around the back yard and the wind has broken our side gate.

Raining less than before. Here is the radar image.

roofs off and trees blown over windows blown in as well as a caravan was blown over while being towed .

other then that I had 8 x12foot long sheets of iron blown off my shed and my sisters house got the front veranda and polls blown down.

They don't call it Wet & Windy Warrnambool for nothing.

I'm at work (Oakleigh) and we have traffic lights out, branches and rubbish all over the road/footpaths, tin blowing off roofs, our evaporative cooler on the roof is half gone, it's completely insane weather today!

I heard they already shut down the Westgate & Bolti bridges, can anyone confirm?

I'm in Bentleigh but went up to Burwood. More traffic lights out than on, police directing traffic, nearly ran over two dogs, trees down, branches down, power down in some areas.

Chaos.

This is what I got of the vicroads site:

VicRoads advises that the outer lanes of the Westgate Bridge have been closed, due to the extreme wind conditions.

The speed limit on the Westage Bridge is 40km.

Vehicle access is restricted on the bridge. High-sided vehicles, motorcycles, vehicles towing caravans or loads are urged not to enter the Westgate Bridge. Alternative access is available for vehicles travelling East on Geelong Road and the Western Ring Road, and for vehicles travelling West on Kings Way and Footscray Road.

As weather conditions change, the traffic conditions on the bridge may change.

VicRoads urges all motorists to take extreme care across the whole network, and to avoid non-essential travel.

I just drove home form Mt Martha to Berwick via the back roads, it looks like a war zone.

Had to knock off when power went out to the estate i was working in.
Was a slow drive home dodging trees and branches, i was hesitant to drive past a broken power pole leaning over the road, it was being held up by the wires only.

In broard'y, where the falcon is born. Traffic is a nightmare, Barry road is closed due to an overturned truck. Looks like a dust stom is about to hit from the NW.

Here in Berwick we had some of the pet cages blow over as well as our basketball ring.

Nothing too bad.

The power in Croydon has only gone off once but we have Ghostgums in our backyard and a huge branch fell and nearly took the roof off our patio.

Brace yaselfs...Big storm coming. Be safe!
