Default Caliper Bolts NM SPECS HELP!!

I need to know how tight the caliper bolts are that bolt the whole caliper assembly in one piece with brake pads and all to the bracket at the back and front??


Um in the ford au workshop manual it say caliper retaining bolts 30nm then later on its saying 68 to 92 nm?? WTF

check here in the parts data sections its like 115nm

which one is it??

please help its getting dark haha

As a general rule the thicker the diameter, the higher the torque. I normally go about 30nm for the guide pins and up to 90nm for the anchor plate bolts.
Never had a problem.

which are the anchor plate bolts?
they bolt the whole assembly?

cause i just undid 2 bolts and the whole caliper came off the bracket with pads still in and everything

those are the 2 bolts are i can't get a name on or NM spec to match

The 13mm ones? has the slide pins in them with rubber boot?

Not overly tight, never really torque them, just by feel. Probably somewhere around the 30-40nm i guess.

Yes, they are the ones. From the specs it looks like 115nm for the fronts and 92nm max for the rears.

they 15mm bolts x 2 of them

Stupid falcon manual, its so retarded with its wording
I need the factory manual, the ones on ebay look dodge or prob the same as the one i already have
