It would be, yes - they state if it is a statutory write off.
The damage isn't that bad, really - if you were keen enough it could be fixed. Anyone know what it would roughly sell for? |

its done nearly 250k so not a great deal, you'd be better trying to get it cheap and part it out than throwing it back on the market, with those klms maybe 7-8 grand, Buy the time you replaced the 1/4 panel and front and rear bars you could spend upto 3k if you can't do it yourself.

It seems most EL XR's go for big prices.
far more then i'd be prepared to pay for a damaged eseries.

starting bid depends on the day, whos there.
5 speeds demand big money V8's demand big money XR's demand big money i'd expect maybe 4grand or something, but maybe more as its not that damaged. how ever i could be way off.

There was a white EL XR8 a few weeks ago also with sunroof that went for $2.5k
It had rear and some roof damage. I saw it on the web the day of the auction and didn't get there in time :o(

When I bought my EL wreck, there was some damaged EF XR6 which went for nearly 10. Not much less than an undamaged example.

that would only be good for parts like Nicko said. If you were gonna repair it then you'd have to be able to do the work yourself to make it worthwhile. A car like that would sell for a fairly high price at auctions IMO.
