Default Is your V8 your daily drive?

Who here has their V8 as their daily drive? State whether it is an XR8, GT, GT-P, AU, TE or GS....

Yes GT = daily drive...

Preferred the XR6 as I didn't really care that much about it, this one I have to be careful where I park it, entering driveways etc.

Yep. 05 XR8 ute. 6 speed manual. Get anywhere from 300-600km out of a tank.
Obviously, never 600 around town.

Bit of a pain in the **** going anywhere where there is a car park. Almost every time someone parks next to it they open the door into it. Not bad enough to dent it, but enough to **** me off.

Used my BF XR8 ute as a daily for the past few years, luckily i only do around 10,000km per year as its an expensive car to run (fuel, tyres etc), hard to find a park and keeping it in good nick is hard!

Use my FG GS 5.4 for work all over Southern NSW. Average 700km/week. Best way to drive regionally!

Yes, yes i do.

EF XR8.

All my V8 cars were dailys, XC 351 coupe, DC LTD, 55 Customline.

Meh, life is too short not to.

I enjoy hooning along after work in it. Since i changed jobs i bought the EF, I really look forward to kicking it over after work.

Before in my old job had the company car (4 cyl Nissan) and it drove me bananas, even if it was free.
