As the title suggests, where can i source a glovebox key? The ignition key is obviously very different and doesn't suit, let alone slot in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Adz.

Try your local Locksmith, they should be able to make a key to suit (using a Mitsubishi Blank - MIT8) otherwise you will need to buy a new lock with keys from Ford but it might be the dearer option. Might also be worthwhile calling your local Ford wrecker for a price on a S/H one with a key, HTH

A locksmith should be able to get the key from the lock. Take it out and to them and see what they say.
Worked fine for my hardlid locks. The places i went to all said they should be able to do it, with one saying he had done it before. Other than that, second hand wreckers one? Cheers

im in the same boat, when i got my monty i only got 2 igniton keys not realising the glovebox key was differant, i figure tho, if ur car is locked and someone brakes in, good chance a little lock on the gloveebox isnt going to worry them,
i never got my key made or locks changed just a thought tho brad` |

Had a car broken into many years ago. They just about demolished the dash getting into the locked glovebox. Much cheaper to not keep valuables in there and let the baddies find that out easily. |
