Default Window already busted

ok, i have seen a few posts about lubing the windows because there tight to get up and down but what's the best fix if your windows already broken and kicks sideways when you wind it up.there is two clips by the look of it that hold the window in place and in my opinion they seem to be to close (e.g not wide enough centres) and this why they break.
