Default Ka Aux Audio Plug-in ????

Some (newish) Fords (Territory, BA Falcon etc) have a built-in socket for an Auxiliary Audio Plug-in, for connection of MP3, iPod etc to the radio/CD.

Does the Ka Collection (2001) have such a socket? (I had a cursory look under the dash, but couldn't see one.) See photos of Territory example at http://tinyurl.com/m88uh

Thanks Pemo

hi pemo, to my knowledge the technology wasnt as big as it is today back then, ipods and so forth had not really taken off, and its only been in the later couple of years that ford and other car manufacturers have taken interest in what the consumer really wants and had these installed. i am also sure that the regular KA cd player or radio is as technicaly advanced enough to utilize that kind of input. my response would be no, the KA does not have an AUX input, also it is my understanding that FORD tried to make the KA a cheap car that they where trying to make sum profit on, when i say cheap i mean in the purchasing department (not on parts) and i dont think that there is much really to the KA. though if you purchased an aftermarket Head unit with an AUX input, only about 150 these days at supercheap or some ware similar, ud get that AUX in put. thats the only possible way as far as i know.
