How hard is it to change the aerial on the AU?
I was leaning on my car earlier right near where it is, and stupidly leant back and snapped the thing. I'm hoping its simple.

gotta take the front left wheel off, & take off the splash guard, bit fiddly but not real difficult...not much room to get the hands in there

That's more effort than I could be bothered putting in right now.
Might scour the house for a coathanger. Perfect for that ghetto look my car seems to be exhibiting lately.

just take the front left hand side guard off, few bolts easy to do, and much easier to get to

Taking guard off = gay...
removing guard = chipped bolts = looks like a clapped out 2nd hand car thats been pranged... Its simple as... I haven't done many AU ones, but in the crash shop, if I couldnt replace, plug in, including removing glove box and reintalling a aerial in 5 - 10 min top on a VT something was wrong... |

Yeah skotty is right. It's a sure-fire way for someone to pass over your car for them to see worn bolt heads. And you never get it *exactly* right when putting it back. Rule of thumb with cars is always to disturb as little as humanly possible.

The guard in question was replaced after the last accident it was involved in, so there probably shouldn't be too many bolt problems.
Skotty - might have to take you up on that one. Maybe next week sometime, its a hell of a drive from my place to Gawler!

if you put your hand up above the ECU you will feel the cable coming in just follow it from there
