I'm guessing the bonnet latch failed?

Is that an EA OR EB? Its got an EA bonnet

its an eb with an ea bonnet
yes the bonnet latch did fail..

i done this on my old KB laser at 110k's... lucky for me it was a reverse lifting bonnet so it only lifted about 6 inches. but still scary when your vision dissapears.

im trying to sell it as is and save up money to either do up my xc falcon or wait till i get my mums ef.. if anyone is interested in it i will take $400 for it... i really need the money.. it has a good motor in it (218,000klms) PM me if you are interested.. the rego is till september 25th but i will be taking it off and putting it on another car. it also has a jvc head deck i will leave in there if i get $500

Yes.. it is a very easy fix.. i dont know if you saw my previous thread but i have already been through two bonnets.. so im pretty experienced in the feild of changing bonnets... not so much windsheilds though... its not that its too hard to fix, its just that i dont really have the money to do it i got quoted $240 for the glass and im guessing the wreckers will want about $50 for the bonnet...

if somebody wants to buy it to fix it themselves or to use it for a motor swap i will also sell a boot full of spare parts with it too come on $400 is very cheap other than the bonnet the body is completely straight
