hey every ones im wondering if anyones got a tranny for an EA series falcon 3.9L multipoint.. its a 4 speed at the moment so id like to keep it the same as its gona be a P plate car... and there for no mods can be done at this time... pretty much just looking for parts for it that will help clean it up its a darl blue at this time and requries the following parts:
- Rear passanger drivers door - front bumper( i purchased one of another color bot dunt know how to spray it) - tranmission as stated above - RIMS im hoping for 12 sloters deep dish - AND ANYONE WHO WANTS TO PUT SOME HELP IN MAKING IT A MAD RUNNING CAR Thanks heaps dimi |

i have a old EA 4 speed box....its done about 250k so shes ready for an overhaul.
i would recommend you get hold of a low km EL trans. it will fit the EA no probs cos ur car is already a 4 speed. i can provide a white ea rear door. i would say take it to a pro for spraying otherwise itll look ****. brad

I don't think think changing to a manual is considered a modification as they came out with it standard. Saying that I'm selling everything you need to convert your car to 5 speed if your interested ;)

yeah i am intersted with what yours saying about the manual transmission but it all comes down to cost as its a first car. if the manaul conversion isnt classed as a performance mod and its cheap enough and its not gona screw me up( not saying that the set up it stuffed) with the car and Vicy roads. cos being a p plate driver im gona be targeted
soooo yer as it is not really sure but as long as its reasonable cheap.. i know i can get a trannny from a wreackers for botu 220 tested but i go if i can get one from here at a better price and learn how to do it it will be better.. soooo not sure now lol |

You want to be cost effective hey?
I have a 3 speed automatic gearbox that came out of a EA series 1 Ghia, working and would like some transmission oil. $130 Door skin for either sides, $20 for one. Bumpers- i have ones that are not colour coded $20. 15" Speedy Rims, clean but could use some very fine wet and drying in some small patches. $150 for the 4.

in reply to the WHAT comment left about the transmission It has no 4 th gear and no2nd gear at all
no matter how quick your going NOW in reply to the SERIAL FOOL umm the bumber bar would be the same as mine so its not reeally a change i dunt wana go to a 3 speed box i wana stay at the 4 but the rims i may be interested in got any pictures coz im not the surest atm lol pm bak |
