Hi all,
Recent interstate trip and for no apparent reason the volume of the navigation voice prompts decreased to a level that was useless. Some google-ing revealed that the voice prompt volume is controlled by the audio volume controls, but only when the voice prompt is active ie telling you something. We must have been adjusting the audio volume when a prompt came on and it got reduced but didn't notice until later. Since we were not trying to adjust it when it happened we were flummoxed about how to get it working at a useful level later on. Perhaps this will help anyone who is wondering how it gets adjusted. Destinations. The system holds both favourite destinations and recent destinations for future use - you probably know this. My point is that if you sell the car to a dealer it might be that your home and/or work address is still in the memory unless you take action to remove it. I'll be making sure that when we sell both lists are cleared before I surrender the car. Cheers
