I wouldnt say the kms are high more average.
AU3 XR8s were going for around 14-15k 1-2 years ago and they were autos. It looks like its had suspension work, exhaust and wheels done so for a manual the price is around the going rate I would say. Maybe a $1000 too high. Car prices are higher in WA. |

If I had the cash I would fight you for it.
Manual, sunroof, 220kw, green, great looking rims. It doesn't come much better. Last of the hand built 5 litres. DO IT!!!

yeh thats a fantastic example of an au xr8... for me the sunroof does it! an auIII xr8 is a find in itself let alone a manual
if youve got that kind of money go for it!

Hows' everyone saying that price is reasonable?
You could get a BA XR6 turbo for that price, cheaper even. The falcon version of that car's only worth around 6k don't see how it being a 220 XR8 makes it worth 3 of them.

id more then likely say no :P
my mate recently bought a manual AU XR8 for 4500.not a thing wrong with it. you'd be better off doing that and putting a 351 in it with the money you'd save on it then buying the one you wanted. just my opinion tho |

XR8s hold their value especially the series2/3 AUs. You can get BA XTs for less than 10k does that mean the GT isnt worth 30k? |

I think people are thinking that WA has the same prices as over east. Thats simply just not the case. We always pay a bit more.
If you can get it for $16k that would be good. Don't listen to the eastern states people.

Buy it mate. $16k is far-call for that sort of vehicle. I would seriously consider trading my XR6T for a local (Tassie) one if the cash back was reasonable. |
