Default What would you do?

A little bit of a crisis I'm having at the moment. I've been looking for a new ute, originally i was settled on a low kay (~100,000 km) 05 BA Mk 2 XR6 5sp for about $17k but have stumbled upon a black 06 BF 5sp XR6 ute with 138,500 km for $18k now this particular ute has the half leather seating (is that sports leather?) and a hard top and looks great..but the kms are getting up there for a 4 year old car..what would you do? go the newer BF with higher kms or the old BA with much lower kms? Am I silly to even consider the BA?

I'd go the bf. You'll go over 100,000klms in the ba eventually anyway

Depends on how many km's you typically drive yourself.

If you drive a lot and will rack up high kays, go the BF - no point paying a premium for low km's if your just going to drive it up anyway

If you dont drive so much, go the BA.

Thats the way I look at it anyway.

Had the same problem a few months ago MK2 BA XR6 with 52,000 or MK2 BF XR6 with 60,000, took the BF as was dec 06 build.

I don't think the kays matter that much when there is only 38,000k difference, for the extra 1g id go for the BF

I'd go the BF, if serviced right it will serve you well for a long time, they get better with more kays!
