I got a set of Eibach prokit springs for my WT Fiesta from European Parts to find that the workshop can't fit the front springs as the bottom of coil is too small to fit against the bottom plate. This epic fail has cost me the labour of getting the springs removed, refitted then the wheel alignment (so far).
Not sure if the front springs in Europe are different or Eibach packed the wrong ones, anyone else have this issue? |

Of course Euro Parts will only have supply for the German built models which are destined for the UK and Euro markets ... they've probably never heard of a WT model ? I can't find a listing for lowered springs for the WT model anywhere, King Springs, Pedders don't yet list anything ... maybe sell the Eibach's you got to someone who has a WS model and wait for King Springs or Pedders to start supplying springs for the WT locally ? I'm in a similar boat with my 2012 Swift Sport, I want to get coilovers but there isn't too much available at the moment due to the Sport being such a new car. A few companies overseas are starting to release their sets but there's nothing available locally ... I will end up having to get a set sent out from the UK or Japan. Good luck with it all ... frustrating I know, lucky it was only a set of springs though and nothing too costly! |

I made the mistake of assuming that they would be the same springs on the WS and WT. I'm going to give Eibach (locally) a call tomorrow to see if there are any springs made for the WT or if there at any plans for them.
Thanks for the suggestion of selling them to a WS owner, I think that might be the best case for now. Goodluck with your search for coilovers! |

Bad luck on the fitting. Most things on the WS fit the WT. I wonder if Mazda 2 springs would be a better fit?

I knew the wheel PCD was different but didn't see anything to suggest the front suspension was different too. Lesson learnt, pitfall of some overseas online buys.

Yeah they know all about it now, they were good sports about it too. It would have cost too much to send the wrong ones back and the correct ones out again.
