I think he would have stuck to the front of the truck a bit better, ie. not so bouncy.
Hehe that was funny.

Funny stuff.
I was expecting someone to steal the car when he collects the triangle.

Great find Minge.
Maybe he got hit because it wasn't a UN approved safety vest.

I bet you fell off your chair laughing when you found that one eh minge. I can see it now. So when he does see it he will pick it apart. Cones too close together, safety triangle too close to the car and not up to EU standards etc etc. But above all I hope he sees the funny side. Even though he's a bit of a pain in the ar$e he certainly is a man of conviction. :jab:

That very thing happened to a friend of one of my colleagues on the Freeway. Was very messy, truck took his head clean off.
Naturally I was very cautious when that same week I had a flat tyre on the freeway :S Ad sends a good message. |

The problem here is obvious. The triangle wasn't up to UN standards.

I have seen a better one somewhere, American, by Continental tyres - should be on the net somewhere. The triangle your see IS the basic EU standard btw - the same can be purchased from all auto accessory shops carrying PROKIT supplier stick - Item RG9212 - $20. The Ford item has much higher wind survivability and is made in Finland by Hella. REM 'standard' states placement 50 - 150 metres before the scene. Good find. My next evil campaign is to seek a final determination that we completely ban ADR52 - rear fog lights. Views?

I have seen rear fog lights hooked up to brake lights before .... damn bright too.
I had a set on my old Proton Satria ... was handy on the M5 on some foggy mornings in heavy traffic ... also used to use them when driving through Badgery's Creek some early mornings ... the fog is that thick you can't see 2m in front of you. normal taillights are useless in thick fog.
