Default Wakefield Park drive day

Hi all, we are hoping to have a drive day at wakefield park on sunday the 3rd of july.

We will need a deposit of $50 per car by the next club meetings.

At the moment we are opening this to the newcastle, sydney & canberra clubs but if we can't get numbers we will look for other people to join us.
We will have the track to ourselves from 9am to 4pm.

There is a limit of 15 people on the track at any time.
There is no speedlimit but there is no overtaking on the corners, only on the straights.

If we get 30 people the cost will be $155 per car + $40 for a licence if you don't have a cams licence + $20 for a helmet with a $50 deposit.
If we get more people the cost will be cheaper.

If you want any more info you can ring me on 0410 651 865

Cheers

Nathan

Assume we can bring a 2nd car other than a Ford? I'll bring the Pursuit and something a little more fun.

Any objections?

Yes. I object.

Will the other thing be ready? If you like, i'll give you a tow in the pursuit :

I'm interested. I better start shopping around for tyres and brakes. Big chance there won't be much left afterwards.

Over ruled!
Hoping it should be ready within the next few weeks. Got the rear calipers on tonight but I think I still got a couple probs - bugger! Gonna drop her off the blocks tomorrow, start her up and run it up the driveway.
Wakefield, look out!

btw - its gonna need a tow. The Pursuit is yours

That would severely detract from the power to weight ratio. Besides, the rebound and bump settings wouldn't go high enough. ;)

I don't mind at all. I'm quite familiar with the track and would be happy to show yourself and others the braking points, turn-ins and apexes.

Don't worry about it Steve, once Bushute has shown you how to drive the track, I'll give you an advanced course. I've never been on the track, but I'm more than happy to show you how to drive it Nancy Boy Style. Its dead easy.

Yeah - Nancy Boy style. I've heard of that particular driving method. I understand you need a tartan blanket on the rear shelf, wear a beret and white silk driving golves. Originally formulated by Volvo drivers so I'm told. :
