Default Mk2escort

Hi what do I look for in the difference between gl or ghia in a mks 2escort wiring loom or are they the same except for the cluster section .

.. roughly 30 metres of wire if you were to lay it out. Cluster and centre stack is most of it given there were no power windows and little else beside some nicer trim and a fake wood-grain dash to differentiate it from the cooking models. It's no wonder there are some things from the 70's that we don't get nostalgic about.

Cheers
Russ

Thank for that I take it the internal cabin looms aren't much different. Of course they mostly have the same external lights
I need a loom for an rs2000 a guy has a loom but can't work out what model of mk2 it's in
Did the base models have rear door courtesy light switches ?
My rs2000 has a repaired dash section loom between lh firewall thru to instruments

Cheers

A ghia loom should also have a relay & related wiring for the intermittent wiper function.
They also have extra wiring for a boot light that run's off the number plate light circuit I think? (Comes on with parking lights, not switched!)
Cheers, Jason.
