So what year was this Magazine printed?

I allways thought that the EA 351 GT was the only V8 that was put into the EAs. I would suppose this was a test mule for the first EB 'XR8's?

EDIT: They thought the progression of models from the EA was going to be the 'EC'

The article is from AUSTRALIAN ROAD & TRACK February 1991

I also have a Wheels Mag from July 1990 with a EA V8 on the cover

EDIT - It's only an article on the forthcoming V8- not a vehicle tested

Too bad the Australian 5.0L was lower power (165kw supposedly and 388Nm) than the Mustang version.

uh, because the orange/amber ones look crap in my opinion, looks like the car is stuck in the 80's. But looking at your avatar, id guess you are a fan of them....

I have never liked the idea of putting clear indicators on a car that never came out with them. To me it defeats the purpose of buying that model in the first place. If i wanted a later model with "clear" lights i would have bought it.

Thats ok because lowering a certain model dosent change what it is. I missed the caution stating that the "EA Falcon should not be lowered".

clear side indicators should be the first mod...
$25 and they look far better than the 80s amber fugdicators.

clear side indicators you buy most of the time arent the same as genuine XR ones.

its no different to bootlip spoilers on eas. they look great.

I am more than happy to stick with the 80s amber fugdicators. Thanks for the tip anyway.

No, The only eb that had clear indicators was the GT. And the only ed's that had clears were the xr6/xr8

My point exactly, clears didnt come out until later so how about we get back on topic. The thread is about the Phase 7, not why wont NostalgEA change his "FACTORY" orange indicators to clear ones.

I just think that if they put all the body kit on these cars etc, they could have put clear indicators too, just to make it look like all new technology.

But the Phase 7 was first made back in the late eighties. Body kits were all the rage. Clear indicators were unheard of back then.
