All I'm going to say is I am pretty sure I would buy one if it was sold here at a reasonable price.
If it came with a V8 diesel I'd probably definitely get one.

I highly doubt we will ever see them sold here though.

There are 12 available for sale at the moment, but expect to pay over $140k for a new RHD converted vehicle. Half that and I would stump up the money. Problem is that it would need to be RHD from Ford. They start at $43k in the US.

I dont think they come in manual, bummer, id certainly live with whatever poxy auto is in it though.

I personally think they would sell more F series here than the Mustang if both are priced properly for the Aussie market.

What about the impact they would have on the Hilux, Navara, Triton, Colorado, BT50, Amarok, D-Max, Cruiser, Patrol etc? Sure they might lose a few Ranger sales but then they would gain sales from other brands as well. Obviously it (F Series) would be priced above the Ranger.

Am I correct in thinking that the next Dodge Ram will be made in RHD and might be coming here? Just in time for the end of the current Cruiser ute.

Yeah they might lose a few Ranger sales but F Truck sales would chew through Triton, Hilux, etc. They're $150k here imported/converted and they still sell really well.

I dont imagine that Ranger would eat through F Truck sales either. The Yanks love their trucks as big as possible. Ranger is big by what we're used to, but nothing compared to all the Rams, Silverado's and F-Trucks which is the best selling car of all time worldwide despite 99% being sold only in The States.

Sure they would probably only sell a few hundred per year, but the brand is going to need a lift soon. The pickup market here is much bigger than tht of the mustangs.

It would take bugger all sales away from the ranger, and who cares its into a more expensive Ford anyway. The resource workers would go nuts and stop buying hsv's at the rate they do currently
