G'Day All, I need your help. I have mislaid my keys for my AU, December 99 Falcon wagon and the car is locked. I've been searching for them for over a day now grr. I don't think the keys are in it as that is almost impossible to do but I can't see them inside anywhere. Whats the best option to get it open? I have tried the old coat hanger with no sucess. Do I call a lock-smith or my mechanic or a ford dealer or what? Cheers

i think that youd be better off calling a locksmith as they can get it open within minutes, all you need is your rego papers, i think, just to prove that its yours

When I locked my keys in it once, I went up to the top left corner or the drivers door and pulled on it, and it unlocked. I wasn't expecting it to. Don't know what the story was there, but worth a go.

perhaps we should keep break-in methods confined to pm's? i don't think we should make too much info overly public.

All you need is just a door stopper made out of wood instead of rubber
and a long metal ruler. NRMA used that all the time for commy & falcons, as i have seen it a few times how they do it in Burwood Westfield. Time it takes for VE commy was about 12 secs, BA & BF falcon was about 39secs. |

Thanks guys, the lock smith got it open for $105. Not bad considering it's Sunday. Took him about 3 minutes and the method had nothing to do with the lock! Yea, no need to talk about break in methods in public. Now I just have to find my keys
