Hi Guys
I searched but I couldnt find the answer. Are any other model steering racks compatible with AU? Im guessing not with the different subframe to earlier cars but Im putting the question out there... mine has died right on xmas....

i did a rack rebuild on mine( and i would`nt recomend doing yourself after having done it) and on the rebuild kit it had vs vt commodore, i`m pretty sure a el or earlier is slightly different and the commy seals may fit but i suspect might be also be slightly different in some way, wreckers would know i reckon, would a bit of stop leak get you through xmas?

thanks for the reply! I noticed the rack is a TRW brand.. I'll ring round wreckers tomorrow. Im topping up almost daily so its pretty bad at the mo.
Best price so far is $360 + GST for a reco one....

you might even try ebay you cold get lucky, there are ford dealers selling stuff on line, good luck.
