Question AU Rack

Hi all
I need to replace the power steering rack on my AU Fairmont Ive been quoted $500 plus fitting but Ive seen them on Ebay for $300
also I can buy a BF rack with 10000Ks on the clock for $150 now does anyone know if it will fit the AU the BF one is from a Typhoon if that means any thing

Mate check some more places.

For my reco'd rack i paid $220 change over (i think) and about $100 to fit.

Deffinately going to find it cheaper.

As for BF rack, i'm pretty sure it won't fit. The lines are different. Check CAT600's build thread though. He put a BA/BF one in his.

with air tools and hoist it takes around half an hour if no aftermarket extractors that go too close to teh rack are fitted plus 1 - 2ltrs of Agri fluid please do not used Dx3 based fluid)
