How about just replacing all the other buttons with drivers window auto down buttons. It feels to me like the auto function is in the button itself so I'd guess it'd work if you can get the auto buttons to fit into the panel.

Hi. Find a car alarm person who can get Directed Electronics products (DEI,Viper,Hornet, etc) and ask about a viper 530T. it is a dual window lift module that also provides one touch up and down and if fitted with a multi channel alarm remote windows up and down. Cheers MD

The auto function IS in the button... BUT it is all attached to the circuit boards behind... to do this successfully, you'll either need to make up another circuit board and copy the same setup from the D/S/F window button... OR cut up a heap of other circuit boards and attach them together...
Either way, good idea!

Also this is a forum not a phone, SMS speak annoys the crapper out of most people here.

Back when I had the AU I did look into adding the auto up/down feature into it as the utes never got it, as has been said here the function is intergrated into the big 4 way switch unit that the drivers door has so its not really feasible to mod it as such (unless youre an electronics genius), Your best bet would be an aftermarket addon which some alarms do have.

The worst part has to be the solenoid lock... thats the part that holds in the button but has an electronic release upon overload... getting multiples of those to integrate into a circuit board could be as simple as removing from other switch banks... but there will need to be other diodes and resistors added into the equation...
I for one have been bitten by this mod idea and will look more into self building a system once i do my interior upgrade... lucky i know a bit about electronics... hehe

lol... i'll give it crack sooner or later... gotta draw up an electronics schematic and go from there... might have to invest in an etching tank and cheese boards...
