Default Push button starter installed

Hey all,

I got my push button starter kit from FTG this arvo so in it went.

I used a 29mm hole saw to do the hole, it was a perfect fit.

the whole job only took 15 minutes to complete, i will post up some pics of it at night and during the day.

Cheers

yeah was dead simple to fit, only took 15 minutes max, very easy to fit.

Just undo the 4 screws in the console then pull forward enough to access the back of the console, from there just drill the hole mount the starter and wire in the cabling.

Just remember to go very slow with the drill to avoid tearing the out of the plastic.

any questions just ask

With the wiring its obviously not a cut and solder job if its done in 15 minutes. Just plugs straight in does it?

yeah there is no soldering required, just call up FTG and ask for the starter button kit for an AU falcon and they will hook you up.

How long is the wiring? Does it have to go where you put it?

Yeah a diagram of where it hooks up and what the kit actually comprised of would be awesome.

Think of the time they spent working out which way to wire it up in the first place and then to have each button wire up so it is just a plug and play.

IMO $210 is cheap.
