Im in the process of building a drag car its just going to be stripped out and maybe a replacement engine, diff gears etc. nothing wild. Just wondering what class it would go in at the drags? I dont know much about the classes and all that stuff yet but just want to know which way to go if its going to be defaulted into a class way above what it is Ill tone it down so its competitive in a lower class then being wiped out every time by 1000hp falcons. Thanks.
Oh yeah it wont be roadworthy either anyone know what sort of cars itd be up against? |

that link might help you out. super sedan = faster then 10.99 sec super street = 11 <-> 12.99 sec woops ...wrong classes for what you asked. : i guess any thing slower then 13.00 sec would just be street. ??? been out of the game for toooo long. : must get my act together and get back on the track. .

hey davo,
dave351cid was pretty much spot on, super street is 10.99 to 12.99 and super sedan is 10.99 and faster. not sure what your closest track has for street classes (WSID runs a street fighter class for cars 13.00 or slower) but speak with them and see what you can find out. good luck with it mate, and lets us know how you go.

the 12.99 cut off is used for championship rounds. General rule is under 11.00 is Super Sedan and anything slower is Super Street, most tracks have their own bracket names and ways of grouping cars. At a regional track cars are usually grouped according to their qualifying times so you end up with cars of around the same performance give or take

i race super street and you will find there is a heap of cars in that class that can and do run into the tens but back it off makes it hard but thats drag racing. super street is the starting point for most beginers and a great way to learn.im the only 6 cylinder turbo running in super street in track championship wsid lots of fun there are all sorts of vehicles from modified toranas to vb commodores to tuff xys
