Default New NA Eseries record 12.89 1/4 mile

I know this isnt AU related, but it really shows how far we are behind.
At the AFF drag Nationals, BrockB8's NA6 EA ran a 12.89 @ 109mph.
Other then Stiddy who ran a 13.7, we are nowhere close, these Eseries guys are completely nuts.

Its only a 3.9L and made just over 200rwkw on the dyno.
Runs a T5.

Id just like to say a big congrats, as thats just insane. And the speed, 109mph, is just too good.
Pass was made with full interior as well.

Yep well behind...
This thing has Individual throttle bodies and 207rwkw..
CVE has done a great job building the drivetrain for Scott.. They definitely Know what they're doing... Congrats Guys!!!

The only things "non" streeter were semi-slicks and dropped exhaust..
Other than that it was in street trim...

How long til we see a N/A AU I6 hit the 12's...??

Was a great effort buy Scotty and the crew from CVE as for Stiddys 13.7 was never recorded, proven, or seen buy any one at the track on the night so dont feel to bad about the AU times , Scottys car has a heap of work and time thrown at it to get it this far , and better still it was full trim I think its time to Gut it and really push the limit, well done again Scotty and Paul it was fun to watch it screaming down the track

Is it possible we will see an 11 second pass from an Aspirated 6 banger in a family 4 door car? Scary to think about.

How much lighter are EA's?

Either way an amazing effort. Stuff ripping the interior out, at the end of the day its a street car and if you want quick times you just dump the engine in a POS cortina or something.

Any pics of the setup?

Those rego plates are well suited too ;)

So many cool things about this car though, the fact that his resisted joining the boosted brigade is commendable.

+1 for n/a power
+1 for spending money on an EA
+1 for the intake setup
+1 the fact that its a Brock
+1 for not stripping it

Could go on forever. Is it a street-able daily?

There is a vid, Ill try and find it later, but with the exhaust dropped, you cant hear much else.
It has 4.11's I think. It crosses the line almost on the limiter.

I have asked the question but still DONT know how hard this thing is being turned ?

Maybe i should talk to Paul after my ecu is relocated about 6 x throttle bodies
And an appropriate air box.... you reckon this would be worthwile under 7g rpm Stav ??

I think this car with those throttle bodies would be a torque monster Most of the go will be from 0 to 5900 rpm. On a dyno I would say it has around 550 to 650 nm of torque

Yep, in that youtube vid at 3:28. Sounds awesome, and looks fantastic.

Id also love to know how many RPM its turning, and overall length of the intake with that individual runner setup. I wonder if its still a hydraulic lifter setup or if its now solid? I better go check out that build thread...

Obviously a well developed combination rather that just a shopping list of parts bolted together.

Big congrats to Paul and Scott for a huge effort and a great result
