Default replacing au fairmont dials

heya,

i am going to purchase a new set of white dials for my au fairmont, cause i dont like the look of the normal ones

au fairmont white dials

that is the easy bit,
what i need help with is step by step instructions, and if possible a few pics (a video would be epic) on how to pull the dash apart,

if no one is able to help ill just get a pro to do it.

gday mate, im going to be doing mine in the next few days,
can take some pics for you when i do it if you like, its pretty dam simple tho,
there are two screws at the top of the cluster, and can be pulled straight out

Yeah undo the screws, then i just get a big old screw driver, take off the fuse cover and shove it up there and push (acts like a lever

Yeh easy, unless its glued in with the strongest glue known to man. I just can't budge mine. Scared of cracking it.

Yeah, mine was bloody difficult the first time, as well.

If your hands aren't too big you can get up behind it and give it a push.

Try pushing on the extreme left first. It might budge enough to give you the confidence to continue

Tried to get up the back and push, but there's nothing there to push, its all closed off, can't get to it. Mine's an original police cluster, if that makes any difference (its an ex CFA car). Will try XR-CHIEF's suggestion, big screw driver up the side from the fuse box.
